It’s the time of year that we like to look back and reflect on all the things we have and all that we have to be thankful for. We’ll step away from the “royal we” for a bit and say I am personally thankful for the life I have made here in likely one of the most beautiful places on earth, thankful my family is healthy and thankful for everyone that reads the words I pen each week. Being somewhat of a local history buff, I’m thankful to be writing for one on the longest running newspapers in the state of California. The list could go on and on, but I think you get the point. As we look around the world, or even around our own country, the life and things we enjoy here on “the island” make all of us pretty fortunate.
Timing wise, a pretty slow week for live music, with most venues closed Christmas Eve and Christmas day, but lets run it down, but first, we’ll tease the New Years Eve shows that we know about. Reservations are suggested for most of the New Years activities.
