Judy Martinez Benefit Concert

Soundbytes – Bits and Pieces

Local musicians are stepping up once again to help a fellow Sonoman in need and are presenting a concert to benefit Judy Martinez. Martinez was recently diagnosed with an inoperable Stage 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma brain tumor, with a strong possibility of it being a Glioblastoma tumor. The tumor has affected the left side of her body, so her strength, coordination and some cognitive skills are diminished. The concert on Monday, Nov. 9, at the Sebastiani Theatre is to raise money for Martinez’s treatment and will feature the Sean Carscadden Trio, Dawn Angelosante and Tony Gibson and Wingo Moon. The evening will also have silent auctions for Murphy’s Irish Pub gift certificates, Sebastiani Theatre movie tickets, Sebastiani Theatre Movie Lover’s Club memberships, Rhoten Productions Performing Arts Camp tuition, Hanzell Vineyards wine, Hanzell Vineyards private tour and tasting, a Ropes Course for 10 and more. The evening gets underway at 6 p.m. and 100% of the proceeds will go to Martinez.
