The Blue Moon Saloon has DJ Saucy 1 with special guests on Wednesday, April 11, at 9 p.m.
The Olde Sonoma Public House has the Cork Pullers on Thursday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m.
The Sonoma International Film Festival hits the town with some music related films and live music as well. The live music events are limited to passholders, but the films can be enjoyed with numerous passes and details available on the website at www.sonomafilmfest.org.
Thursday, April 12, the film Chico and Rita screens at the Sonoma Community Center at 10 a.m. The Film Festival kick-off party will be at the Moose Lodge, for pass holders only, on Thursday, April 12, at 8:30 p.m. with the Rich Little Band and the 617 Band.
Friday, April 13, the Shop has a benefit for their new sound system featuring Epic City Massive Fridays – Spring Break Edition, kicking off at 7 p.m.
Highway 12 Properties, at 1061 Broadway, has a house concert on Friday, April 13, that features Cindy Lee Berryhill and her Carport Orchestra, kicking off at 7:30 p.m. For tickets and more info, call 225-7141.
The Plaza Bistro welcomes Sylvia Cuenca on Friday, April 13, at 7 p.m.
The Whiskey Thieves have their latest video in the Film Festival that will screen at 1 p.m. at the Vintage House senior center as part of the Sixth Sense shorts program. The band will also be playing live in the back-lot at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 13, then again at Steiner’s Tavern later that night, kicking off at 10 p.m. Also playing the back-lot Friday will be Matt Bolton at 2 p.m. You must be a pass holder to get into the back-lot.
Additional music themed movies that will screen on Friday, April 13, are Girls in the Band at the Sebastiani Theatre at 2:30 p.m., Chico and Rita, at the Sonoma Charter School at 7 p.m. and Lady Gagas Secret World at the Sonoma Community Center at 8 p.m.
