Sonoma Valley High presents a Winter Concert

The Sonoma Valley High School Music Department presents the 2011 winter concert series on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 14 – 15, at 7 p.m. in the Little Theater on the campus. The musicians will perform over two-dozen holiday favorites. Tickets will be available at the door both nights.

Little Switzerland has the Tri Tip Trio laying down Cajun and zydeco sounds on Thursday, Dec. 15, starting at 8 p.m.

The Olde Sonoma Public House welcomes Tudo Bem on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m.

Murphy’s Irish Pub has the Two Rock Ramblers on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 8 p.m.

Songwriters in Sonoma at Meadowcroft Winery in Carneros wraps up the year with a special presentation on Thursday, Dec. 15, that features many of the musicians that have played over the last year. Included in the evening performance are Jon Williams, Tom Martin, Amber Snider, Jeff Falconer, Adam Traum, Arann Harris, Coalmine Spindle and many more. In addition, a percentage of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to FISH. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned food and toys as well. The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the door, or before by calling 934-4090.

The Plaza Bistro welcomes the Mike Zilber Trio on Friday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m.

The Kathmandu Corner has the paper Dolls on Friday, Dec. 16, at 7:30 p.m.

Murphy’s Irish Pub presents Midnight Sun Massive in the Snug at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16.

HopMonk Tavern Sonoma welcomes the Courtney Janes to the inside stage on Friday, Dec. 16, at 9 p.m.

The Barking Dog Roasters in Boyes Hot Springs welcomes Dale Henry Geist and the Strands, featuring Adam Traum on Friday, Dec. 16, for a 5 p.m. show.

The Sonoma Community Center has the Hometown Band for a Christmas Concert on Friday, Dec. 16, kicking off at 7 p.m.
