The blues grooves of the Groove Society will be gracing the cozy confines of Olive & Vine in Glen Ellen tonight, July 9. The band is not just going to be laying down blues, but some funk and rock and roll as well. The bands members have played with such notables as Bill Champlin, Buddy Miles and Etta James. Showtime is 7 p.m. and there is no cover.
The Jami Jamison band will be making their debut appearance for the year at Sebastiani Winery and Vineyards tonight, July 9, for a night of swing, blues and dance tunes. In addition, Finish Line Barbecue will be providing plates of chicken, tri-tip and sides to go with the wine. Showtime is 6:30 p.m. Sunday, July 11, has art and jazz featuring Patricio Angulo. The afternoon kicks off at 1 p.m. There is no cover for either event at the winery.
Steiners Tavern has music this weekend, starting tonight, July 9, with Sue Albano and Mark Dennis and tonight they’ll have a full band, with Bob Edmundson on drums and the journeyman, Corey Jennings on harmonica. The tavern has changed the music times around a bit, with tonights show starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 10, brings in the sounds of DJ XXXenos for a 10 p.m. show.
The Plaza Bistro has regional favorites the Swing Fever quintet tonight, July 9. Swing Fever plays, well, swing music, but the players have all cut their chops with jazz legends. The band also boasts a repertoire of over 1700 songs. Showtime is 7 p.m. and there is no cover.

Murphy’s Irish Pub will have the Hellhounds for a night of blues tonight, July 9, for an 8 p.m. show. Saturday, July 10 has bluegrass favorites Carolina Special for a night of traditional bluegrass. Sunday, July 11, has the folk sounds of Amy Wigton for an early show that kicks off at 6 p.m. There is no cover for any of the shows.
Michel Saga will be bringing gypsy jazz to the Landmark Winery and Vineyards for an afternoon show on Saturday, July 10, kicking off at 1 p.m.
Saddles at Mac Arthur Place continues its “Sundays on the Veranda Garden” series of concerts on Sunday, July 11, with the Sean Carscadden trio for an afternoon show that kicks off at 4 p.m. There will be drink specials and a bar menu for light fare. There is no cover.

E Z Kewl goes for the trifecta this weekend starting tonight, July 9, at the Schellville Grill for an evening of music starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 10, has the boys in Santa Rosa at A’Roma Roasters in Santa Rosa for a 8:30 p.m. show. Sunday, July 11, has the band back at the Schellville Grill for a brunch set that kicks off at 11 a.m.
